We all see the world from our learned and shared experiences.
A tracker told me there’s more information in a square foot of ground if you know how to read it. I see myself as a backyard local photo hobbyist. There is a lot of beauty immediately before us.
It seems we have a need to explore the far reaches before choosing a place to call home. I’ve traveled a bit and find the familiarity and comfort of my chosen locale gives me a sense of home and contentment. I’m happy I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit in turbulent world times. It offered a condensed version of the world, and so many good people. Growing up there prepared us.
Being immersed in the four natural seasons of life and nature can be cleansing. Today taking photos as art satisfies me and can be cathartic. Sharing satisfies me and gives me purpose.
